Dwight is honored to collaborate with people as they navigate life and enjoy the success they seek. He has experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, self-esteem/self-concept concerns, etc. He is an ally and advocate for people who find themselves in the margins and seek assistance decoding the culture around them.

The driving forces behind Dwight’s passion to serve are wellness and love. “To love others as you love yourself and vice versa have immeasurable value toward maintaining balance and personal wellness.” Dwight maintains balance in his life by hiking, listening to music (any genre he can get his ears on), being outside, watching movies, cuddling with his dog and most importantly spending time with his family.

Dot Leroy Brown, RTA

Registered Therapy Animal

Dwight and his dog; Dot support the clients with a therapy animal bond.

Dot Leroy Brown is a 10 year old black lab mix. He was 4 years old when he crossed paths with Dwight at the local animal shelter. Dot sat at the shelter for a long time; He was close to running out of time as his behavior was rated poorly due to his background, separation anxiety and time spent in the shelter. Dot’s smile and stubby legs stood out. He proved himself 1000x over to be the best snuggler and loyal rider. When Dot and Dwight were evaluated by Pet Partners to become an official therapy team, Dot earned the highest marks and handled everything like a superstar. The poetic justice in his story is how a $30 dog turned into a priceless treasure. Dot enjoys hiking mountains, running, curling up by the fire with a good book, cuddles, and watching squirrels. Dot is excited to em-’bark’ on his new journey as a therapy dog.
